My mom and I are interested in adopting a Malinois to be her service dog, are they relatively easy to train for obedient tasks and medical alert? I know they're mostly used for protection/K9 work, but we are not interested in that sort of training. I trained my mom's previous service dog, a German Shepherd-Husky, but he passed away from an Epileptic seizure, so would self-training at home or in public environments work for a Malinois?

Amazing job

Thinking of adopting a 3 yo female malinois and was unsure. This helped a lot! I don't have your skills but at least I know it's possible and worth a try. I suffer from CPTSD and PTSD and despite my country not having a legal status for psychiatric service dogs, I want to do my best to try to train one. And if in the process, I help out a doggo, even better.

Luke is amazing. He worked patiently with Tucker to help him with behavior related anxiety. He also spent time with us to show us how to reinforce his new behavior. We would highly reccomend Luke and Off leash K9!

I love this breed and miss mine daily. They have to stop the ear cropping though. Mine did not have his ears cropped and he was perfect just the way he was.

Beautifull dog! How long do your traininng sessions take? I have an 11 week old puppy. How long and how often would you suggest i train her? I now do 2 sessions of 15 minutes each a day and do some cues over the day

Hey, it's not a GSD it's a malinois

Took me some time to find her video because her name was misspelled and so had to go to the page and search from there. It's the Russian form for Sascha, short for Alexandra "protector of humankind". She is doing great, and when I played the video, she heard her trainers voice and came to look at my phone and was concerned about why he was in it, lol.

Totally un helpful video. No inaction with your audience, no instruction or advice to owners of Australian Shepherd dogs. I felt my time was wasted.

Sorry boo but, you dont give useable commands. I could have gotten Koa to do every command you gave him. You dont inow how to get into his head when you command him. I speak fluent dog speak. Any "language". I can talk to any dog. Any dog.

I would suggest changing the title. Starting with "GSD Kills" gave me the complete wrong idea xD
